Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain is what all big budget games aspire to be; an experience that is packed full of content, has stunning visuals, and provides players with hundreds of hours worth of entertainment, discovery and mischief.
Playing as Venom Snake, players travel across Afghanistan and Africa in what is one of the best action games ever created. Unlike previous Metal Gear games, players are given access to a humongous open world sandbox from the get go; sneak, interrogate, murder and attach balloons to sheep - The Phantom Pain allows you to do all of this. Every mission is dynamic; sneak in and take out the guards one-by-one, or run in with guns blazing.
Despite its rather weak storyline, The Phantom Pain is a triumph in terms of interactivity, engagement, action, and most importantly - fun.
