Frogwares Interactive has been making Sherlock Holmes adventure games for some time now. Even though they often fly under the radar, they are mostly of a high quality, and they have only been getting better. Sherlock Holmes: Crimes and Punishments is the high point of the series so far. Stepping into the shoes of the consulting detective has never felt more realistic. With multiple outcomes to each case, you never know if you're quite on the right track. However this makes it all the more rewarding when you eventually find the culprit and have to decide their fate. Working through cases is an absolute joy, and that's why it's Hooked Gamers' Best Adventure Game of 2014.
