Card based (cntd.)
Gaining experience and going up in level, brings new Statistic Points and Skill Points. Basic statistics like Strength or Magic affect the values of other parameters; e.g. the number of hit points or magic points. They also determine damage, protection, resistances and other parameters, but more indirectly. Basic statistics are raised with Statistic Points. Skill Points, on the other hand, serve to improve the performance of various actions. The moves you do, either automatically or manually must be frequently upgraded to be effective against more numerous and more demanding opponents.
Character development
The game features a system called ?career changers?. It enables you to experiment with different careers and even reverse back to one you preferred. This means there will be no more regrets about changing from one career to another. Additionally, there are no character restrictions so you can teach your character any skill in the game.
Your character will need to sleep, eat and drink like a person in reality. Not doing these things can be disastrous. If your character does not sleep enough, he will lose combat effectiveness and the ability to cast spells successfully. If you completely fail to take care of your character, the worst case scenario may even be that you will gradually lose hitpoints.
Cross platform
The game also has online components which will allow PC and Xbox 360 players to be able to play online together. We don?t know how this is going to work yet but it sure sounds exciting. However, Xbox 360 users are not likely to be able to use the various editors that will be shipped with the game. These editors will allow you to create your own adventures and, if you are really dedicated, your own expansions.
Two World?s graphics look fantastic and may even rival the quality of The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion. Amazingly rendered forests, beautiful villages, and hordes of creatures rushing towards you in battle, make this game a treat to the eye. The developers are also looking to provide brilliant music ? its soundtrack is being written by Harold Falter Meyer, who you may remember for the music he did for Beverly Hill Cops and Top Gun.
With all the above, we are left with only one question; which ending will you get? For that answer, you will have to wait until the game is released, sometime in the first quarter of 2007.
