Medal Of Honor: Warfighter - Military Edition Announced

EA has announced the Medal of Honor: Warfighter - Military Edition, along with something called "Project Honor", for military personnel.

Project Honor is a program “dedicated to raising awareness and generating charitable contributions for fallen warriors from the Special Operations Community in honor of the sacrifices they and their families have made for their country.”

Partnerships with weapon and special gear manufacturers, such as; Kaenon, London Bridge Trading, Magpul, SureFire, Mechanix Wear, and others - EA will donate to the Navy SEAL Foundation and the Special Operations Warrior Foundation in the name of Project Honor.

These featured manufacturers will have their products featured in game with select manufacturers selling Medal of Honor merchandise with 100% of the benefits going towards those select charity foundations.
“This partnership with EA and Medal of Honor will raise awareness on the work we do to help the families of fallen Special Operations warriors and facilitate contributions that help provide college scholarships for surviving children and financial assistance to families of severely wounded special operations warriors,” said John T. Carney, Jr., Special Operations Warrior Foundation president. “This is a great way to give back to some of our country’s greatest warriors.”
The Military Edition of the game will be exclusive to active, reserve, and prior U.S. military personnel. GovX will sell the Military Edition, which verifies whether or not you have the certain credentials to purchase the special edition.

Medal of Honor: Warfighter is out in October for the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and PC.
