Inversion Gets Release Date, Mobile Version

Namco Bandai have announced a release date for their upcoming gravity-defying action title, Inversion.

The game will arrive in the US on June 5 while Europe gets it on June 8 for the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and PC.

The game was originally planned for a February release date but was pushed back due to the game needing �a comprehensive multiplayer component, including extensive competitive and co-operative modes".

Saber Interactive announced that the full retail version of the game will also be accompanied by a mobile app for iOS and Android devices called "The Inversion Project". The app will be an all-out third person shooter with all the gaming mechanics of the core game.

Saber Interactive's biggest claim to fame is probably their work with 343 Industries on Halo: Combat Evolved - Anniversary Edition.
