New Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood DLC Coming Next Month

Ubisoft has unveiled some new details regarding Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood new DLC, "The Da Vinci Disappearance".

The DLC will be available on the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 and will cost you 800 MS points.

Set after the fall of the Borgias in Rome, Da Vinci is kidnapped by the Hermeticists, a group dedicated to transforming mankind. Ezio will then embark to rescue and save Da Vinci by tracking down stolen paintings that allude to where the inventor is being held captive. Two new locations and two new gameplay features will be included with the DLC, as it will feature single-player and multiplayer action.

The MP side of things will contain a new map, four new characters, and two new game modes.

Alhambra, the new MP map, is set in Spain’s Albaicin of Granada, and will contain multilevel indoor and outdoor areas. The new MP characters are; Dama Rossa, the Knight, the Marquis, and the Pariah.

The two new gameplay modes are; Escort and Assassinate. Escort sees you, in two teams of four players, trying to escort a VIP target while fending off assassin's from the other team. Assassinate is a "deathmatch" type mode that will feature 6-8 players battling to the end for supremacy.
