No Dark Souls Demo Planned, No DLC Either

From Software has confirmed that their recently name-changed title, Dark Souls, will not have a demo and will not receive any DLC post launch.

In an interview with 4Gamer, the games' director Hidetaka Miyazaki, confirmed that the game would last up to 60 hours. A whooping increase from Demon's Souls' 30-40 gameplay time.

The reason Miyazaki said there would be no demo released was that he's "not very good at making demos". He also stated that there was no plans to release any post-launch content but if From Software could come up with some interesting ideas, he'd be willing to listen.

Dark Souls is out this year for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.
