Jazzpunk swinging onto Steam next month
You'll be forgiven for being presently unaware of Jazzpunk, but after watching the trailer, there's a good chance it'll be on your radar from here on out:
Salivating yet? Me too! Well, good news: Jazzpunk's Steam page has updated to show a release date: February 7th. The game will be available for PC, Mac, and Linux.
A bizarre first-person comedy adventure, Jazzpunk is set in an espionage-filled, Cold War inspired world that contains everything from "CyberCrime" to "sentient martinis." Developer Necrophone Games describes the gameplay as being "is inspired by spoof comedy films and cartoons of yesteryear, with a focus on weird gadgets, exotic locales, and open-world style exploration."
The game has already been compared to last year's indie hit The Stanley Parable, as it questions what a video game can be in a comedic fashion.
