Titanfall's Dig Site Map Receives Screenshots
After the recent formal announcement of the map names for the Frontier's Edge DLC for Titanfall, released with a teaser image and really nothing else, Respawn Entertainment released images of the Dig Site map in a blog post along with the promise of revealing Export and Haven over the next week. The blog post read as follows;
Dig Site:
Mining operations are on hold while the Militia defend this crucial asset against IMC attacks. Surrounded by sheer rock walls that offer natural protection against air assault, the site becomes a bloody ground war characterized by titan skirmishes over subtle elevation changes in the terrain, and a mix of short and medium-range engagements for pilots.
Titans patrol the narrow pathways between the industrial processing buildings while pilots leap overhead, and an imposing rock saw the size of an overturned office building looms over the site providing cover and high ground for pilots.

Here are the three screenshots that were released which give a small look into the new map, a notable feature is how much open ground there seems to be in comparison to other maps in the game so far, most structures being traded in mostly for rocks and boulders being the key pieces of cover in a vast contested territory waiting to be ripped apart by Titans and Pilots alike. Perhaps these images are misleading though, as it is only a portion of the map.
