Crysis 2 DirectX 11 features revealed
A post on MyCrysis.com, since removed but captured by user BeeDog on NeoGAF, revealed what the free upgrade will bring to PC gamers.

There's a high res version on the NeoGAF forums for those interested in reading what the web page had to say on the new features before it was taken down but for now, feast your eyes on the mossy bricks of visual progress!
Obviously, you'll need a DirectX 11 compatible graphics card as well as Crysis 2 to run this but if you're one of the poor common folk still running your steam powered DirectX 9 graphics card you'll be pleased to know that this update will also optimise the game further with DirectX 9, making it run that little bit smoother. A high resolution textures download, which supports the DX11 and DX9 versions of the game, will also be made available.
Look to our review of the game if you're yet to sink your teeth into it and look out for the DX 11 update coming soon.
