Corsair Sabre v2 Pro Ultralight Wireless Mouse
Design & Comfort
The most immediate and striking feature of the Sabre v2 Pro Ultralight Wireless is its sheer lack of mass. Weighing in at an almost unbelievable 36g, it is, without question, the lightest mouse I have ever used. This ultralight nature is a massive boon for players who favor fast, sweeping motions, or even for those gamblers heading to Silver Oak casino online. The portability of the mouse is naturally excellent, making it a perfect travel companion.

However, the design is not without its concessions. The small form factor means that gamers with larger hands may find themselves restricted to a fingertip grip, rather than a palm or claw grip. To enhance customisation and handling, the mouse comes supplied with several Grip Tapes that can be attached to the sides, enabling a better purchase on the surface. For those who want to fine-tune their glide, separate mouse skates are also included.
A minor critique on the travel-ready design is the included connectivity: while it’s great for portability, the wireless operation relies on a dongle that attaches to the included cable. This means you’ll need to ensure you pack both the cable and dongle to maintain wireless functionality on the go.
Features & Customization
The Sabre v2 Pro is built around the high-performance CORSAIR MARKSMAN S sensor, which offers up to 33K DPI. Users can configure up to 5 different DPI settings, allowing for on-the-fly sensitivity adjustments during gameplay.
The mouse features a standard five-button layout: the left and right mouse button, a scroll-wheel button, and two buttons on the side. Customization is handled through the Corsair Web Hub, where each button can be configured to open software, assigned to various key presses, or linked to programmed macros. Unfortunately, at the time of writing, the Sabre v2 Pro is not compatible with the standard iCue software. This is disappointing for those with existing Corsair peripherals, as they will need to switch between the two software suites to manage their gear.
Connectivity is purely Wired and Wireless (via dongle). Disappointingly, there is no Bluetooth connectivity, but one can assume that this is one of the side-effects of achieving such an aggressively lightweight design.
Performance & Battery Life
The combination of the featherlight 36g chassis and the high-end sensor delivers on performance. The mouse moves smoothly and is Very Accurate, translating rapid movements into precise on-screen action. The incredible lightness makes it feel almost non-existent in the hand, which is ideal for competitive play where fast reflexes are key.

In terms of endurance, the mouse offers up to 70 hours of wireless battery life, which is respectable and should get most users through several days of heavy use without needing to recharge. If you do need a charge, 90 minutes is all it takes to refill the battery, and gamers can do this while using the mouse in wired mode.
Verdict
The Corsair Sabre v2 Pro Ultralight Wireless is a high-octane gaming mouse built for a very specific, demanding audience: competitive gamers who prioritize speed, accuracy, and minimum weight above all else. At just 36g, it redefines the 'ultralight' category, making it fantastic for sweeping motions.
While the lack of iCue integration, the absence of Bluetooth, and the smaller size that may necessitate a fingertip grip are minor compromises, they are likely the sacrifices made to achieve its world-class lightness. With its incredibly accurate 33K DPI sensor, 70 hours of battery life, and smooth movement, the Sabre v2 Pro is a powerhouse and a significant contender in the ultralight market.
