Oculus Rift to go on sale in 2016
Oculus VR today revealed that the long awaited consumer version of the Oculus Rift will be released in the first part of 2016. They also released some new images of the consumer version which has some slight changes from the previous Crescent Bay prototype.
In a post on Oculus.com they stated that the consumer version, "builds on the presence, immersion, and comfort of the Crescent Bay prototype with an improved tracking system that supports both seated and standing experiences, as well as a highly refined industrial design, and updated ergonomics for a more natural fit."
Oculus VR are set to release the final tech specs next week and preorders will begin later this year.
