Cities: Skylines Hits Sales Record
Developers Paradox Interactive and Colossal Order announced on Tuesday that Cities: Skylines has sold over a million units on PC, Mac, and Linux. Released on March 10th, the city builder became extremely popular with critics and fans, alike. Cities: Skylines already has over 33 thousand fan-made mods available on the Steam Workshop. Since its launch, Cities has remained popular, with an average of 21 thousand players online continuously.
CEO of Paradox Interactive, Fredrik Wester commented on the success of Cities: Skylines;
“We continue to be amazed at just how players have embraced Cities: Skylines. The game is still selling at a steady pace, which is remarkable for a game that has been on sale for well over a month. Once again, we want to thank everyone that has supported and continues to support this game.”
