'FIFA 13' to feature Messi on cover, not Rooney
According to a report, this year's version of EA's popular soccer franchise will feature Barcelona's Lionel Messi on the cover.
This will mark the first year in nearly seven years that Manchester United's Wayne Rooney will not appear on the cover of a FIFA game. It is said that Rooney's contract with EA has expired and the company has not re-engaged the star forward on further talks.
Messi as well as other younger, upcoming players will be appearing on this year's title. It's expected that EA will make the announcement later today.
