Dragon's Dogma Gets Launch Trailer
Capcom have released the launch trailer for their upcoming RPG title, Dragon's Dogma.
In a recent interview with CVG the game's producer Hiroyuki Kobayashi stated that the developing team never thought about adding co-op or multiplayer for numerous reasons.
“A big reason for that is that we wanted to let players make their own character as well as their main pawn,” he said. “So their pawns weren’t actually other people playing, but were ones that you had made and levelled up through the game.”Kobayashi also stated that the pawn system in the game is one of the main reasons why you won't be seeing the title on the PC. He then stated that if this game does well he would not rule out doing a sequel in the near future with Wii U implications.
“If people like it, there is definitely a possibility of future installments,” he said. “As far as future consoles are concerned, we’re still not sure yet: we want to focus on the first one and see how well it is accepted around the world first before we can even think about next-gen consoles.”The game is out on May 22 in the US and May 25 in Europe for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.
