Prototype 2 Aiming For 4 Million In Sales

Radical Entertainment have stated that they are aiming to sell around 4 million in sales for their upcoming sequel, Prototype 2.

Radical VP Dave Fracchia made the statement in a recent interview with MCV, citing sales of the original hovering around the 2.1 million mark.
“We sold 2.1m copies of the first game and our expectations are much higher for this one,” he said. “I would roughly say we’re looking at between 1.5 to two times [that]. I would obviously like to see it higher than that.”
Fracchia states that Prototype 2 will likely "own the month" of April when it's released, saying;
“There were a few games that were getting hints about potentially being released during April, but they’ve all kind of moved, so we literally own April.”
However, I beg to differ with Fracchia as The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings is slated to release next month, and it has a very faithful following. So I'd say "owning the month" is a bit premature. The Witcher 2 will be a Xbox 360 exclusive so no doubt Prototype being multi-platform will have a bigger baring.
