BioShock: Infinite's 'Motorized Patriot' Gets Detailed
Irrational Games' Ken Levine has detailed BioShock Infinite's bad guy, the Motorized Patriot, revealing that the villain is a bit ruthless.
In a recent G4 interview Levine stated that the Motorized Patriot is a "completely fearless" enemy and it will not have a "sense of self-preservation" when fighting you, so you better be ready.
When you defeat one the Motorized Patriots you'll be able to pick up the baddie's main gun, called the "Pepper Mill" which is a Gatling gun of sorts. It will be the only opportunity in the game to acquire the weapon.
“These are enemies that are used to not just be more powerful, but to augment the abilities of the more traditional BioShock enemies. You’re going to come across them in certain areas of the game, and they’re going to provide a really unique challenge.”Levine also confirmed that BioShock: Infinite will be releasing on October 16 in the US and October 19 in the UK for the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and PC.
