Final Fantasy XIII-2 Will Have Time Travel System
According to the latest issue of the Japanese video game magazine, Dengeki PlayStation, Square Enix's Final Fantasy XIII-2 will feature a time travel system.
Apparently this time travel system will play an intricate role in the game's story. This revelation comes on the heels of a new character was announced for the sequel. This new character, Noel, is said to be from the future and will actually take on the role of the last human in existence (from his time period).
The magazine states that you will be able to use the time travel system as free as you'd like using the Historiacross system, but the details end there.
The magazine also dished some details on Lightning's role in the sequel stating that she is now a knight guarding the shrine of the goddess Etro in Valhalla.
Final Fantasy XIII-2 is out in Japan this December for the PlayStation 3 with a western release next year.
