Chaotic Multiplayer Platformer 'Ligmanauts' Coming to Steam
Victorian-based Super Spin Digital has announced their upcoming chaotic, physics-based mutliplayer platformer Ligmanauts for PC (via Steam).
Ligmanauts features classic platforming action that brings kicking and screaming into the voice chat era. Roll, bounce, grab, swing, and boost through compact challenge-based worlds with friends online or locally, backed by an original liquid dnb soundtrack.
Scour the Ligma-verse for juicy fruits so that you and your friends can throw the most amazing punch party in the universe!
"The game started as a simple co-op concept where players worked together to pilot a single vehicle." Shared technical director Stephen Last. "I wanted a novel, heavily physics-based character controller, so I started with the simplest thing possible: a sphere rolling around, bumping into things, and using joint constraints to grab objects. Before I knew it, the whole game became about balls and grabbing things—and the Ligmanauts were born!"
