Cubemen gets a major update
3 Sprockets, an indie developer has launched the first major update for its fast paced, action packed original 3D Tower Defense game, Cubemen. The free update available introduces online co-operative play for the first time with Mayhem mode, 14 fresh new levels and the ability to seamlessly customize units.
Our mantra for Cubemen has always been to offer a refreshing spin on the Tower Defense genre whilst working closely with the community to create the content that they want. Our first major update radically expands the Cubemen universe, offering new gameplay modes, unit customisation options and new levels.
said Seon Rozenblum, Director of 3 Sprockets.The new Mayhem mode brings intense multiplayer action to Cubemen for the first time. Experience Cubemen chaos with other players either individually or in cooperative mode as you take on 2 – 6 players online in six new multiplayer levels. The mode also introduces a lobby chat system to keep players entertained as they wait for new foes to begin a game.
Through selecting one of twelve new colour schemes and eight new costumes including outlandish ninja and skeleton suits, the new Customisation options allow players to modify their units to suit their personalities. To expand content, 3 Sprockets have released three new Skirmish levels and five new Defense levels, as well as introducing the new deadly Sniper unit (SID) armed with tracer bullets.
