First Homefront DLC is "Fire Sale" Map Pack
THQ announced today that the first DLC for their most recent shooter, Homefront, will be a map pack entitled Fire Sale, releasing on June 7. It's a timed exclusive for 360 so I hope you enjoy waiting and still paying the same amount, PC and PS3 gamers.
There are no details on the maps, aside from the fact that there will be two and the vague description that they "will carry you further into the heart of a war-torn and twisted America.
However, there's more good news for 360 gamers: a new title update released today that fixes some issues and improves upon stability. Hit the link above for a full description of the fixes. As a thank you for dealing with the number of issues that have plagued this game on Xbox Live, THQ are releasing a free premium Homefront theme on the Xbox Live Marketplace.
THQ also released an "Ability Pack" for the game, which unlocks five new abilities for use in the multiplayer. Again, details through the link.
