Video Games Have Their First Grammy
As a follow up to an earlier story where we mentioned that Electronic Arts was pushing for Video Game Grammys, we are happy to announce that video game music fans everywhere can now rejoice!
Artist Christopher Tin has been awarded a Grammy for his song "Baba Yetu." Fans of 2005's PC hit Civilization IV will immediately recognize the game's intro tune. It was included in the nominations for the release of Tin's debut album "Calling all Dawns". The composition is taking home the Grammy for Best Instrumental Arrangement Accompanying Vocalist(s).
