Sony PSP![]() Rock Band Unplugged![]()
![]() ![]() Developer Backbone performed nothing short of magic with the Rock Band franchise when they took it to the PSP. While the graphics will not win any rewards, it does literally put a rock band in the palm of your hand. The already generous song list can be extended with downloadable songs and all can be played in the magnificently fun World Tour Mode. Truly one of the best Rhythm & Music games ever to be published on a hand-held platform. Resources Dissidia: Final Fantasy![]()
![]() ![]() The Final Fantasy franchise has been around for a long time and lend its name to dozens of games. Dissidia: Final Fantasy is certainly a worthy addition to the series, offering not only one of the most stunning visual experiences on the Sony PSP but one of the most fun as well. The 3D fights remain fresh and interesting throughout the game, rewarding the player with ample gifts for each win. Resources Little Big Planet![]()
![]() ![]() Last year, Little Big Planet for the Playstation 3 took second place overall in our Game of the Year awards. This year, Sackboy and his friends return cuter than ever. The downscaling of Little Big Planet has worked out wonderfully, losing its fun factor only marginally compared to its big brother. While not as customizable as the PS3 version, MediaMolecule did an amazing job bringing that aspect of the game to the PSP. Resources Resistance: Retribution![]()
![]() ![]() It was only a matter of time before Sony would take the Resistance franchise to the PSP. Fortunately for us, they did a remarkable job. While not as epic as its PS3 siblings, Resistance Retribution succeeds well in bringing the fast-paced action and the series' grim setting to the PSP. The game sets a high bar for shooters on Sony's little handheld offering smooth controls and great AI. Resources Gran Turismo PSP![]()
![]() ![]() The Gran Turismo series has become synonymous with great graphics, extensive tweaking of cars, realistic driving mechanics and challenging gameplay that will keep you going for days on end. Gran Turismo PSP does not disappoint on any of these fronts offering no less than 800 cars and a huge variety of tracks to compete on. This is, without even a shadow of a doubt, the ultimate portable driving game. Resources Runners-Up

Assassins Creed: BloodlinesWhile not as engrossing, Bloodlines is a great apetizer for playing its big brother on the consoles and keeps your fingers supple while on the road.
