Homemade PipBoy 3000 is a Labor of Love
The Personal Information Processor has been a hallmark of the fallout series for some time. While others usually mod the game and add new locations, missions and situations to the existing game world, others recreate their favorite moments from the game in real life.
Take MyMagicPudding for example, who built this complete, functioning replica of the PipBoy 3000, using an HTC Desire HD, an Arduino Uno microcontroller and a custom casing designed by one of his colleagues that goes by the name of "Skruffy". Impressively, even the LED lights correspond to the screen you are currently on!
The only limitation: you can't actually wear it on your arm, because all the gizmos and doodads inside the device leave no room for it. Shucks!
