Legends of Runeterra
Not so much an large scale multiplayer game, but a 1 on 1 online game, Legends of Runeterra is an easy to learn, hard to master digital card game. Based off the locations and characters of League of Legends, the game has players building their decks and competing against other players in online card combat. Everything looks absolutely gorgeous too - the card art is absolutely top notch, and the play space is organized in a way that feels uncluttered despite having all the information on hand. With some great gameplay features, Legends of Runeterra is the digital card game that all others should be measured against.
Blightbound has players taking on the role of heroes fighting back against “The Blight”, monsters that have taken over the world after the destruction of an ancient god. In teams of three, players select a character to play, each with a differing skill set to take on the dungeons loaded with monsters of all kinds. Learning the skills of your own character and complementing them with your squad is a heap of fun. The shared experiences and monster variety make this a game for teams familiar with the dungeon crawling genre.
And the Winner is…
