Fallout 4's Simulation Speed is Directly Tied to Framerate

This video demonstrates that Fallout 4's Creation Engine's speed is tied to the game's framerate. With that, animations for attacks and player movements will be faster at higher framerates, along with items moving faster as well. Though Fallout 4 tries to lock the game to 60 FPS, this can cause some problems for higher-end PCs, as it simply turns V-sync on, capping the game at higher framerates for 144Hz monitors, and possibly other monitors. This could likely lead to problems within the game, causing glitches and crashes for these players. So, play with caution if you're playing Fallout 4 with this kind of monitor.
