Deadpool Back on Steam
After the contract expiration between Activision and Marvel at the end of 2013, the Deadpool game was taken off all digital storefronts, including Steam. Now, amidst the Comic-Con hype for the upcoming Deadpool movie, the Deadpool game is back on Steam and available for purchase.
After over a year of absence, the incredibly meta game, starring the fourth-wall breaking, Marvel Superhero, Deadpool may be back, but we're unsure of how long. No word from Marvel or Activision as to why the game was suddenly re-released, quietly, on Steam. We also don't know if this will be permanent, so if you're interested in buying Deadpool, you might want to act fast.
"Deadpool is a game that suffers in ways that should probably bother me a lot more than they do," said Quinn Levandoski in his Hookedgamers review, "but there’s no doubting that I had a good time while playing it. I was entertained. I laughed out loud on more than a few occasions."
