Rocksteady Still Working to Fix Batman: Arkham Knight

After Batman: Arkham Knight's bug-riddled and heavily criticized PC launch, Rocksteady decided that the best option was to remove the game from Steam in order to fix many of the issues. Rocksteady has given an update on the work they've done in a recent post on the Steam community forums for Arkham Knight.

Rocksteady is leading our team of developers and partners as we work on the PC performance issues that players have been encountering. The work is significant and while we are making good progress on improving performance, it will take some time to ensure that we get the right fixes in place.

They've listed some of the problems they're dedicated to fixing immediately, including supporting higher than 30 FPS, fixing low resolution bugs, improving hard drive streaming and hitches, and more.

They've also released a patch for players who already own the game, which fixes some issues, which are mostly bugs.

While we work on improving performance, we will also continue to make interim patches available to address issues for those still playing the game on PC. The first patch is being released now.

Rocksteady also thanked players for their support and patience. They gave no date of expected completion of the fixes.
