Yooka-Laylee Kickstarter Concludes with 3.2 Million
With no real Banjo-Kazooie news from Microsoft at this year's E3, Yooka-Laylee finishes unrivaled by any Rare platformer. The Kickstarter finished with over 3.2 million dollars, meeting all stretch goals. The stretch goals include, multiple languages, co-op multiplayer, and an orchestral soundtrack, among other things.
Initially unveiled in April, Playtonic studios requested 260 thousand dollars to create the game. That goal was crushed in the first day, having received those funds within an hour and becoming the most successful Kickstarter game thus far.
