Oculus Rift and a Capable PC will Cost in the 1500 Dollar Range Together.
The virtual reality gaming machine, Oculus Rift is an exciting new item in the industry. With all the buzz for this years upcoming E3, Oculus CEO, Brendan Irebe, says the Oculus Rift and a computer to use it on will cost roughly $1500.
We are looking at an all-in price, if you have to go out and actually need to buy a new computer and youre going to buy the Rift at most you should be in that $1,500 range, Brendan Irebe said at the annual Code Conference in Rancho Palos Verdes, California. Over time he'd like to see the price come down to $1000.
Irebe was not clear on how much an Oculus Rift will cost on its own, or the requirements for a PC to properly run the Rift. More news will likely come at the years E3.
