Grim Fandango now available for pre-order
Tim Schafer surprised everyone back in June last year with the news that cult-classic adventure game Grim Fandango would be remastered for modern platforms. It seems like a lifetime ago, but it seems the release is finally upon us - the game will be released on the 27th of January.
If you want to be one of the first to get your grubby mitts on a copy, the video game archaeologists over at GOG.com have managed to secure exclusive rights to offer pre-orders for the game at £9.29 / $14.99.
This remastered version, at the hands of the game's original designer Tim Schafer at Double Fine Productions, makes the ancient game fully playable on modern systems. It also features higher-resolution artwork, a live orchestral score, and a new dynamic lighting engine.
So, while you might have to wait a while to get hold of GTA V on PC, it looks like the LucasArts classic will be arriving just in time to pick up the dead weight.
