CS:GO's de_train gets an overhaul
Valve have continued their sterling work, revamping classic Counter-Strike maps for the latest instalment, CS:GO.
This time around, it's de_train - a map that was already in CS:GO, but which had fallen out of use in serious tournaments thanks to a number of fundamental design flaws. Attempting to turn that around, the new version is a complete ground-up reworking of that famous train-yard, with a focus on competitive (and more interesting) play.
Train is a memorable and classic Counter-Strike map. We're excited to begin a new chapter in the history of Train by releasing a new and upgraded version for Counter-Strike: Global Offensive. We've rebuilt the map from the ground up in order to improve both the visual appearance and competitive gameplay balance of this iconic location.
