Steam launches live-streaming service

If you've opted into the Steam client beta, you'll now have access to the brand new Steam Broadcasting service. This means you can just right-click on any friend who's playing a game, and watch what they're doing in real-time.

The first time someone tries to watch you play, you'll be asked to set up your privacy settings (Invite only, Friends can request, Friends can always watch, or Anyone can always watch), and then it should Just Work™.

Find out more about getting set up on the official announcement page, here.

And, yes, people are already using it to stream porn.
