New The Witcher game hits storefronts
If, like me, you love board games, but find it tough to get enough people around a table for long enough, you'll no doubt be pleased to hear that one more board game is now available in digital form.
The Witcher Adventure Game has left beta and is now available on Steam and GOG.com for the price of a couple of sandwiches.
Those of you with slightly more vibrant social lives might want to consider picking up the real thing, with a physical copy of the game available from Amazon.
The Witcher Adventure Game allows players to take the role of four distinct characters known from the books and video games: Geralt of Rivia, monster slayer; Triss Merigold, cunning sorceress; Yarpen Zigrin, dwarven warrior; and Dandelion, roguish bard.
Each character has unique skills and multiple ways of overcoming obstacles - the choice is yours: do you fight your way to victory, call on your charm or try your hand at diplomacy?

With online multiplayer and AI players to fill any empty seats, this could be a great new way to while away those winter hours.
