Assassin's Creed: Unity is patched

In a show of support for the beleaguered customers who purchased Assassin's Creed: Unity, Ubisoft have pushed out what will surely be the first of many patches to try to bring the game to a more playable state.

Patch 2, which applies only to the PC version of the game, fixes a number of issues including being able to fall through the ground, and getting stuck in a hay cart. The full patch notes can be found here, but players should be forewarned that those widespread performance and framerate issues are specifically called out as not having been fixed yet.

There's a fuller picture of the work to be done in this topic on the official forums, which gives a long list of all the issues Ubisoft have currently acknowledged are in the game across all platforms - but it certainly looks like the PC port is bearing the brunt of the problems.
