Ex-Irrational devs looking to Kickstart The Black Glove

Not content with forming a team to develop The Flame in the Flood, some more plucky survivors from the sinking ship that was Irrational Games have joined forces to create a surreal first-person adventure called The Black Glove.

The game dumps you into a surreal, 1920s-themed theatre (stick with what you know, eh? These are some of the guys who worked on BioShock, after all) where three artists are struggling to produce meaningful work. Using the titular 'Black Glove,' you must manipulate their past to help them.

Based on your decisions, the creators may become influenced by 8-bit video game music, 60s era pop art, Day of the Dead folk art, 70s cosmic comics, anime, multi-media experimental art, cyberpunk fiction, sad-eyed clown paintings, low-budget B-movies, and more. The choice is up to YOU.

As is now traditional, The Black Glove has appeared on Kickstarter, asking for help to raise a measly $550,000 over the next 30 days. If you've got even a passing interest in narrative-driven first-person storytelling, you could do worse than to check it out.
