No Early Access release for Legend of Grimrock 2
Legend of Grimrock was a brilliantly fun throwback to old-school dungeon crawling, and we gave it an 8.4 back in 2012.
If the press releases are anything to go by, the sequel has been shaping up nicely, with an overhauled engine, new skills, and a chance to finally get out of the dungeon. Unfortunately, if all of that has you excited to get stuck in, you'll have to do the unthinkable and wait until the game is done.
Almost Human, speaking to Rock, Paper, Shotgun, have said they have no plans to release an early build of the game, but they will be taking pre-orders.
We are kind of old-fashioned and want to release the game in a polished condition.
No word yet on when exactly pre-orders will be available, but we're assured that the game is already playable from start to finish, and on track for a release later this year.
