Quest for Infamy pegged for June release
Fans of 2D adventure games will no doubt be rubbing their hands with practised menace at the news that Quest for Infamy, a role-reversed send-up of the Quest for Glory series, will be released on June 26th.
In the shady guise of one 'Mister Roehm,' the game sets you loose upon a small town where, presumably, you'll get to go on a quest (for infamy). In an unusual turn for an adventure game, you'll also get to choose from a handful of different character classes which will affect both the gameplay and the story. The whole thing is very tongue-in-cheek, and I'm rather looking forward to seeing how it all turns out.
Developer Infamous Quests have been kind enough to offer up a new trailer, which may pique your interest with its classic 90s-style visuals and 'interesting' voice acting.
Quest for Infamy is available for pre-order on the official site, which also has a playable demo available if you want to practice your evil laughter before the full release.
