Kickstarter happening for 'Heavy Gear Assault'
Stompy Bot Productions have booted off a Kickstarter for their upcoming title, Heavy Gear Assault.
The crowd funding project is looking to raise $800,000 in 38 days. The title will be coming to Windows, Mac, Linux, and Android and will have e-sport support. Mech customization and dynamic destruction will also be prevalent themes throughout.
A payment model is being labeled as "free-to-choose", meaning you'll pay for your involvement instead of one flat fee no matter how much you play. From the game's Kickstarter page;
“Choose your level of involvement to pay and play how you want. Play entirely for free or pay for premium membership that doesn’t break the balance of the game. The free-to-play model has evolved."
