Deep Silver's 'Saints Row 4' rumored for August release
The newly appointed publisher is rumored to release Saints Row 4 this August and has admitted to having "big plans" for PAX East.
The publisher, which acquired the rights to the Saints Row IP during THQ's liquidation, Aubrey Norris stated recently on Twitter;
“Dear Media: You’re going to want to be at PAX East this year. If not, you’re going to be missing out on something HUGE. Just FYI!”
Chris Stockman, former design director on the original Saints Row and current lead designer at Human Head Games, stated that he's heard "around the campfire" that Saints Row 4 will be releasing in August for current-gen consoles. It's entirely possible that people within the game's market know the release window of Rockstar's upcoming GTA IV, so it makes sense that Saints Row 4 will release before then.
PAX East happens March 22 through the 24.
