'Dead Island: Riptide' pre-order DLC unveiled
Techland have revealed some pre-order DLC for their upcoming sequel Dead Island: Riptide when you throw down some early money.
Anyone who pre-orders the game will receive "The Survivor Pack" which features:
- A BBQ Blade: An exclusive weapon that combines a sharp blade with fuel tanks to make a flame-spewing sword.
- An XP Booster: This will essentially make your character level faster for a while.
- A Special Shop: Players can access a discount shop that offers big savings on weapons and gear.
If you pre-order the game at GAME UK stores you'll get an exclusive DLC titled "Fashion Victim" which includes new co-op skins for Logan, Purna, Sam B., Xian Mei, and John Morgan.
If you opt to purchase The Survivor Pack after the game launches it will cost you 400 MS Points or $5.99 through the PSN. The Fashion Victim pack will cost 160 MS Points or $2 through the PSN.
Riptide is out on April 23.
