'Assassin's Creed 4: Black Flag' outed, details surface
Ubisoft's next Assassin's Creed title has been outed ahead of a supposed reveal today, with several details emerging.
Apparently Black Flag will be a pirate-based title and will follow Connor's grandfather, Edward Kenway, as you explore the 18th century Caribbean.
Kotaku first posted an image yesterday of a pirate Assassin and when that image was flipped over, the game's world map was revealed.
The map shows locations such as Cuba, the Cayo Islands, and Florida. Also present is a new Brotherhood logo with a skull and crossbones.
Back a few weeks ago, a source on Reddit revealed that Assassin's Creed III would be receiving the "Black Flag" DLC. Now that same source is stating that the game is a new title altogether and will be out "holiday 2013". That same source states that the game will focus heavily on sea combat and will carry the tag line of “Survival is the Only Thing Worth Dying For".
We'll just have to wait and see what the press conference holds.
