'Tekken Card Tournament' announced

Namco Bandai have announced Tekken Card Tournament for the PC and mobile devices.

The game will work alongside physical packs of QR cards purchased in stores. The game will work much like the other Tekken video games, except you'll fight one-on-one battles with QR cards.

Speaking with MCV, Namco Bandai's PR and marketing director Lee Kirton stated;
“The unique features of the physical cards being linked with the digital game is an instant stand-out feature."

“This is very unique and innovative, especially for a fighting game. In addition the game offers full 3D graphics but also as explained previously interactions with physical cards, QR scanning and Augmented Reality which many of our competitors do not offer.”
The game will also support cross-play between the PC and mobile devices.
