'EVE Online' has 450,000+ subscriptions
Developer CCP have announced that their MMO Eve Online has surpassed the 450,000 subscription mark with sales of the game in China up.
The firm's CEO Hilmar Veigar Pétursson stated that subscriptions for the game have gone up every year since the game originally launched in 2003.
CCP also announced that the game has relaunched in China and has "surpassed CCP's expectations" in merely seven days being on the market.
“I can’t think of a better way to kick off our celebration of our tenth anniversary than bringing a new era of EVE Online to mainland China, and I welcome them into the world of New Eden as we enter into our second decade of growth and prosperity for EVE,” said Pétursson.
EVE Online's 18th expansion - Retribution - launched last week. Via VG247
