'StarCraft II - Heart of the Swarm' to get leveling system
According to a recent announcement by developer Blizzard, the upcoming StarCraft II expansion will be getting a leveling system.
Apparently players will “earn experience while playing Blizzard matchmaking modes and custom games on Blizzard maps,” with XP being earned for each unit you build and destroy.
Each game race has 20 levels in which you can ascend with experience points coming once a match ends. The leveling system will be included with the game's next patch.
