'The Castle Doctrine' revealed as Jason Rohrer's next project
The Inside a Star-filled Sky developer Jason Rohrer has announced his next title as The Castle Doctrine, a home defense MMO.
The game was originally revealed through this teaser site. I presume the title for the game refers to the American legal doctrine that designates a person's abode (house, car, etc;) as a place where that person has certain immunities where deadly force is permissible against any intruder without being held liable to persecution. The title only makes sense.
The game will be a top-down title coming to PC, Mac, and Linux "soon".
