Apply now for the 'Wizardry Online' beta
Sony Online Entertainment will soon begin to start taking beta applications for their upcoming MMO Wizardry Online.
If you're interested you can sign up for the beta here. If you're going to participate in the beta you'll have access to Human, Elf, Gnome, Pokuru, and Dwarf characters. You'll also be able to choose from the Fighter, Priest, Mage, and Thief classes.
According to ThatVideoGameBlog, the first title in the franchise used the Permadeath option. The game will get comparably harder as you level up and you'll be able to fight PvP. Although the PvP option will only be able to be used between players of the same level.
However, if you go around killing other players you'll be marked as a "player killer" in-game bounties where other players can hunt you and kill you without consequences. You'll also be able join parties up to 100 players, so there's always the chance that you'll run into a very large angry mob in-game.
The game launched in Japan last year.
