'Beneath a Steel Sky 2' gets a confirmed PC release
Revolution have officially announced that Beneath a Steel Sky 2 will be releasing on the PC, Android, and iOS devices.
The Broken Sword: The Serpent's Curse developer revealed the plans for a full out sequel to the original Steel Sky title in their Kickstarter. Revolution, despite falling short of the $1M they set out to gather they are still going through with the game's plans.
The developer's co-founder Tony Warriner made the announcement today, according to Develop, stating that the success of Broken Sword convinced the development staff to make a sequel.
“We’re delighted by the recent level of interest in a sequel to Beneath a Steel Sky,” Warriner said, “and are currently discussing design ideas for this project which we plan to go into development following the release of Broken Sword – The Serpent’s Curse. We’re deeply touched that our Steel Sky fans are as enthusiastic today as they were when the original game released in 1994.”
Revolution will also be looking to release Steel Sky 2 on consoles.
