Report: 'Half-Life 3' to be open world, releasing in 2013
According to a new report, Valve's Half-Life 3 will be an open-world shooter title that is releasing in 2013.
Speaking with Journaldugamer, an anonymous source stated that the game has undergone a "total revision" following its "chaotic" development schedule.
The source also stated that the game was originally developed to be a "straight up" shooter but failed in that aspect. The game will apparently be open-world, side quests, and NPCs". The game will also have several RPG elements and will be Half-Life 3, not Half-Life 2: Episode 3.
