Tomb Raider In Alpha Testing Phase, Will Get Global Simultaneous Release
Tomb Raider's senior producer Kyle Peschel and the game's art director Brian Horto have confirmed that the upcoming reboot has entered the alpha testing phase.
The Crystal Habit podcast confirmed the news, meaning that the game has most of its content in place and can be played on consoles.
The game is expected to stay in alpha testing for at least two months and then go into beta for at least one more month. This means that the release date for the game will be some time after May, probably an October or November release date.
On the game's official forums Tomb Raider's global brand director Karl Stewart stated that the game will receive a global simultaneous release.
The game will be out on the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and PC.
